If you can read this, thank a teacher!
As the school year wraps up for most of us, let's take some time to honor the teachers in our lives. May 7 through 11 is Teacher Appreciation Week across the U.S., and it's a great time to recognize the time and work our teachers have dedicated to helping us succeed.
Although I'm finished with school for now, I still have fond memories of my teachers, especially the ones who encouraged me to try my best in everything I did.
To all my teachers, past, present, and future, thank you for seeing what I could be, and helping me get there. Especially Mrs. J, who believed in me even when I didn't always believe in myself.
I'm sure all of you have many reasons to be thankful for the teachers in your life. Today and this week, why not let your teachers know you appreciate them? A wall post, a poem, or a picture are all great ways to say "Thank You."
